Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"On my last visit to Dubai, I visited Daily Restaurant, especially for their nihari. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, the nihari was already finished, as we went a bit late for lunch around 3:30 pm. We then ordered korma and biryani instead. Between the two, I personally liked the biryani more. It had better flavor and was more enjoyable overall. The korma was decent, but the biryani stood out. The restaurant environment was clean, calm, and comfortable, which made the experience pleasant. However, the service could have been better. The server seemed a little rude and appeared to be in a hurry, even though there was no rush at the restaurant at that time. Overall, it was a good experience with some room for improvement, particularly in customer service."
"We ordered Simple Nihari, Gola Kabab, and Chicken Biryani—all were good! The taste of the Gola Kabab was amazing. However, the price of roti and biryani bit high compared to the taste. Also, we had to ask multiple times for extra potatoes in the biryani, which was a bit inconvenient."
"One of the oldest Nihari spots in UAE. Their Nihari is best in taste and unbeatable. We have tried plain and maghaz nihari and they are both the best. There is an option for fried Nihari but that is just excessive oil, wouldn't recommend that. Apart from Nihari we have tried their Paya which is available on Thursdays only and that is definitely the best too, we have tried Beef Bihari Kabab which is also very tasty, tried their Chicken Malai boti which was average in taste. Some senior waiters are very nice and polite, the man at the main counter works with a straight face, not rude, but not polite also. Will keep visiting for Nihari, paya and beef bihari kabab."
"Daily Restaurant serves excellent mutton biryani and Nihari. The biryani is flavorful with tender meat, and the Nihari has rich, authentic taste. Good portions and consistent quality."
"Masha Allah Masha Allah, their quality was very good, Haleem was very good, so what was the point of Nahari"
"Not a very luxurious but a reasonable restaurant in terms of pricing and quantity and food options. We ordered nihari and karahi and both were good."
"Delicious food...tried Nihari and chicken kadai...but must try is gola kabab. definitely worth visiting again."
"This is my go-to restaurant for Nihari, Korma, and Keema — they consistently deliver rich, authentic flavours. Their Tandoori Roti is arguably the best in town: fresh, perfectly cooked, and always satisfying. The food portions are generous, and the pricing is fair, offering great value for money. I also appreciate their thoughtful packaging — using paper packets for both roti and curries, which feels safer and more eco-friendly. It's small touches like this that make the place stand out."
